    Get Started

  1. Step 1

    Register your business with local, state and federal agencies as required by law.

  2. Step 2

    Obtain a D-U-N-S Number from the Dun and Bradstreet website. Wait about 48 hours to receive your DUNS number by email.

  3. Step 3

    Check with your state Environmental Safety Office for Taginator VDOT #, product status and classification. Ask them to email or fax data sheet along with disposal measures for your files.

  4. Step 4

    Go to the Equipment Trade Services (ETS) website. Click on the yellow “SEARCH OUR SITE” button. Type “Value deal #2” in the search box and press the Eyeglass icon. Set up an account and pay for order. Save shipping cost and hazmat fee by ordering through ETS. Wait for the order to arrive by mail.

  5. Step 5

    File Taginator Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) along with VDOT #, product status and classification, after receiving the order from ETS. If the MSDS is not included in the order, call ETS and ask them to fax or email you a copy immediately.

  6. Step 6

    Advertise. Consider ordering business cards, using magnetic signs on your vehicle or placing the company name and phone number directly on the rear window with vinyl letters.

  7. Step 7

    Establish a pricing list. Call the competition. Establish a flat rate per square feet.

  8. Step 8

    Generate a user-friendly website. Allow customers to send inquiries and book services via the website. Advertise a biodegradable graffiti removal service, if possible.

  9. Step 9

    Call city and county purchasing offices. Ask them how to receive bids for your service. Follow purchasing office advice and register as indicated.

  10. Step 10

    Drive around private businesses, schools and churches. Leave them your business card and fees. Talk with property management companies and offer them a deal for all their properties.

  12. Step 1

    Read and follow manufacturer instructions carefully. Post labels on all work bottles and equipment, as required by MSDS.

  13. Step 2

    Ask each customer to sign a release form and take a “Before” picture of the graffiti.

  14. Step 3

    Wear safety clothing, goggles and gloves as mandated by Material Safety Data Sheet and State Environmental Office.

  15. Step 4

    Remove the graffiti by spraying sparingly. Repeat if necessary. Clean and dispose of material as indicated by State Environmental Office data sheet.

  16. Step 5

    Take an “After” picture to post on your website.

  17. Step 6

    Bill the customer for service. Cash checks. It´s that simple.
